At English by Nature, our journey began over 20 years ago, fuelled by a passion for traditional furniture craftsmanship and a profound appreciation for English architecture. From the outset, we were driven by our love for woodworking and the enduring principles of traditional design.

As our business flourished, our modest workshop became insufficient to meet our growing aspirations. We relocated to more spacious premises in Hampshire County, where we continue to create our exquisite furniture to this day. Our former 16th-century warehouse in London remains a cherished source of inspiration for many of our designs and colour collections.

The aesthetics of our furniture beautifully embody the simplicity and domesticity of the Georgian era, enriched by a quintessentially English reverence for nature. This harmonious blend allows us to embrace the modern ways we live, ensuring that each piece is not only a testament to time-honoured craftsmanship but also a reflection of contemporary elegance.

All our bespoke furniture is meticulously crafted using old days manufacturing methods. Each piece is prepared and painted by hand, employing only the finest English paints and tools, ensuring an exceptional level of quality and artistry.
